The Municipality now offers you the opportunity to sponsor a bench along selected hiking trails. By sponsoring a bench, you help provide a welcoming place to rest for walkers and hikers while leaving a lasting reminder of your connection to Rougemont.
The sponsorship includes:

a high-quality wooden bench, matching the Municipality's standard design;

installation by the Municipality;
-
a personalised engraved plaque;
-
maintenance of the bench by the Municipality.

The sponsorship includes:

a new high-quality wooden bench;

installation by the Municipality of Rougemont;

a personalised engraved plaque;
-
ongoing maintenance of the bench by the Municipality.
The bench remains the property of the Municipality of Rougemont.
The engraved plaque will remain in place for as long as the bench is in service. Should the bench need to be replaced in the future, the Municipality will contact the sponsor(s) and offer them the opportunity to renew their sponsorship with a new bench.

If you have a particular place in mind, we would be delighted to hear your suggestion. Your preferences are always welcome and will be considered whenever possible, taking into account the hiking trail network, the surrounding landscape and technical feasibility.
The final location is determined in consultation with the Municipality.
